Statue of Simon Zavarian - Belogianni str., Nikea

On the 3rd of December 2000, the relevation of the statue of Simon Zavarian took place on the square near the Armenian Cultural Centre, "Zavarian".
The statue of Simon Zavarian, who is one of the most important personalities in the armenian history, was created with pride and yearning by Kakik Kalousdian.

The square on which the statue of Simon Zavarian stands, was renamed after him during the ceremony.
