 On the 11th of June 2000, the Rendi-Tsouvaladika town square was named "Armenia" square after the revelation of a monument dedicated to the Armenian Genocide.
The activity was held by the Municipality of Ag. Ioannis of Rendi, the Armenian National Committee and the Armenian Cause Justification Committee.
